Questions & Answers

Where is the wedding being held?

The ceremony will be held outdoors on the Waterview Terrace at the Silver Cloud Hotel – Point Ruston Waterfront, located at 5125 Grand Loop, Tacoma, WA 98407. This scenic terrace overlooks Commencement Bay and is fully covered to provide shelter in case of rain. Following the ceremony, the celebration will continue indoors in a beautifully appointed, air-conditioned event space. Guests are welcome to enjoy both areas throughout the event.

The wedding ceremony starts at 5:00 PM. Please arrive early enough to park your car with the valet and proceed to the ceremony area, located on the hotel’s main floor.

We’ve arranged valet parking for all guests. Just drive to the front entrance of the Silver Cloud Hotel at Point Ruston, and someone will park your car for you. Let them know you’re here for the Bailey-Blaser Wedding.

There is electric vehicle charging available. Large vehicles (over 7 feet tall) may have limited space.

If you’d rather park yourself, you can use street parking on Grand Loop or park in the Point Ruston Parking Garage, which is just across the street.

Please wear wedding casual clothing. This means nice clothes, but not too formal. Please refrain from wearing jeans or denim, and avoid wearing white.

We have limited space and can only invite those listed on the invitation. If your invitation includes “and Guest,” you may bring one guest. If not, the invitation is just for you. Please get in touch with us if you have any questions.

We ask that everyone put away their phones during the ceremony. We’re having an “unplugged” ceremony so that everyone can be fully present and our photographer can get the best pictures.
After the ceremony, you’re welcome to take all the photos and videos you like! We’ll also have info on the tables about how to share your photos with us.

We request that this be an adults-only event (for individuals 18 and over). Thank you for understanding.

Please let us know if you’re coming by July 11th by filling out the RSVP form on the wedding website. If we don’t hear from you, we’ll assume you’re not able to attend.

We’ll miss you! If you are unable to attend, please RSVP as “not attending” on the website so we can plan everything properly.

When you RSVP, please let us know if anyone in your group has any food allergies, the specific allergy, and its severity. We will have a food menu available at the event that lists any allergens you should be aware of.

Yes, we’ll be serving alcohol after the ceremony and during the reception. If you plan to drink, please be safe and consider staying at the hotel for the night.
